Yes, an update is long overdue. Might as well at 12:12 in the morning since this intense Melbourne heat is keeping me up. Working at 10. OH wells.
Spend new years at falls. The highlight must have been New Young Pony Club and Kings Of Leon. And I simply fell in love with Angus and Julia Stone. I made friends with Jen's friends Al and Jorjie. I think I had too much to drink that may have ended me with a servre case of rashes. But overall it was great.
Australia day at Espy was also fun. I spent it with Jorjie, Al, Ben and Avital. The highlight must have been seeing Quan from Regurgitator and Spod strut their... ummm synth. Yeah it was fat (minus the capital "F").
St Kilda Fest was also something memorable for the start of 2008. Glad I lived right in the centre of it all.
Saw a few bands inbetween. Didn't really go to any of the other major music festivals but Laneway is happening this Sunday and I am looking forward to it! Oh and Chick On Speed!

So with the evolution of blogging tending towards a point of random people notice you on the streets just becaues they have you on "that" interactive blog. And the thought of ppl.. strangers even...reading stuff about what you write on the interweb its kind of scary. From now on I am now going to use this for music purposes... none of that rant about my life!

Roll up, roll up to see the weirdest shit you'll find in the civilised world! Fabrik are having a Carnival Freak Show Party on 25th October. Are you a freak? No? Well dress up and no one will know you for the boring, vanilla flavoured dork that you are. We'll be on display at Roxanne Parlour, lurching to the twisted sounds of Carry_TheZero, Post-Percy and Skirtchaser (Midnight Juggernaught set). This is a very special Fabrik as it's also a fundraiser for Queer Collaborations 2008. QC is a highly important event where queer departments from around Australia come together to discuss queer politics and policy. Under VSU unions are straining to keep it going. So the good folks at Fabrik will be donating half the proceeds from the night to this wonderful event, to be held in our fine city of Melbourne next year. So don your hippest freak attire and come down to place yourself on display and support a good cause at the same time!
